Bill and I decided that kids needed some alone time with mom and dad during Spring Break so today Bill took Bryson to do his new favorite thing, ride on the carousel. And I took Brady to play laser tag at place out here in Gresham called Lazer Planet.
(Sadly, there are no pictures of our adventures today. I didn't bring the camera because I didn't have the pocket space. When our cell phone contract is up, I'll get a lovely phone that can take pictures.)
Having never played laser tag before, I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by how much fun we had. After our second round, I was really getting a workout chasing all those young boys around. (I'll have to take Brady more often.) When we finished up, Brady played a few arcade games and then the two of us played a game of air-hockey. (I let Brady win. Its kid's day!)
Bryson also came home saying he had a wonderful time. Bill took him out to the Jantzen Beach carousel which, I, myself can not remember ever seeing although I knew of its existence and recommended it to Bill. He told me that they took 3 rides and it only cost $2.00. What a deal! :) It cost us $1.50/ride for each of us on the Seaside carousel.
Tomorrow we switch kids. Bryson and I are going to go to The Children's Museum and Bill and Brady are... well, I don't know what they are doing. Brady wants to go play laser tag again.
