Such good food and so many fun desserts. I wish I would've paid more attention to the email I received about the Halloween brunch, however - kids were supposed to come in costume. :( Next time for sure!
And they got to pick out pumpkins to take home out on the deck. Since we already had a bunch of pumpkins from our trip to the patch, they picked out some funky gourds.
After such a filling brunch, we relaxed at home before getting ready for trick-or-treating. And actually, I didn't even know what the boys were going to dress up as until we were ready to go. Over the summer I had come across a bunch of Halloween costumes on clearance and had put all the suits in an old wooden toybox - now known as the "suits box."
The Halloween candy bowl is ready for trick-or-treaters! With a couple of pencils and bouncy eyeballs.
And poor Bent got stuck in a Halloween outfit, too.
The boys are ready! The final decision: Brady as an army soldier and Bryse as Buzz Lightyear.
Brady and Bryse out in front of a house in my mom's neighborhood. The boys loved all their Halloween decorations.
Making their way back home from a successful venture in our neighborhood with Daddy and Grandma. There was one house that really went all out and they loved it. And wouldn't you know it, I was too caught up to take any pictures of it.
Here are the boy's pumpkins. Brady and Bryse marked on the pumpkins and Bill carved. (Brady's doesn't have three eyes - the middle is the nose.)
And look who made an appearance while I was taking the pictures - our Halloween cat, Furgus.
